SIZE:
Blaine has very good size for a 2026 Pro Style QB at 6'0" 184 lbs. He stands tall in the pocket, firing darts into the defense with sharp precision. Shows good toughness.
ACCURACY:
He gives his receivers the ability to make a play on the ball. His throws are made with a tight spiral, making for a catchable ball. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Very consistent with his delivery, adding to his accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is not an issue for Blaine. High velocity throws get to his receivers in a hurry. He can fire the ball into tight windows of space or let it fly over coverage.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with full extension. Does a nice job setting up prior to delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who can work to the outside fro added space. Very good vision downfield with strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
Well balanced stride on his dropbacks. Can work to add speed and quickness to his game.
POISE:
Very confident QB who works well to lead his team downfield. Calm under pressure.
DECISION MAKING:
Very decisive with his throws, wasting very little time getting the ball off. Displays a calm aggressiveness while attacking the defense. Taking chances when he sees an opportunity, trusting in his receivers.
TOUCH:
He does a nice job adjusting the velocity of his throws. Can take something off on a fade route or fire it in between defenders. Tight trajectory at long range.
