Landon has good size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 5'11" 185 lbs. He stands tall in the pocket while surveying the field for potential targets. A quick hitting QB who gives the defense minimal time to react.
ACCURACY:
Landon can get the ball to any location with aggressive throws that are made with sharp precision. He’s able to maintain his accuracy whether its in the pocket or on the run. The key to his accuracy comes from his sound throwing mechanics along with consistency.
ARM STRENGTH:
His arm strength is never a question. He fires darts into the defensive and can extend the field with bombs downfield.An over the top delivery that comes across quickly with continued acceleration upon release. He does an excellent job getting set up quickly with throws made with high velocity.
THROW ON RUN:
Landon's a pure pocket passer but displays very good speed and quickness getting to the outside. He shows very good vision downfield as he locks in with a receiver.
FOOTWORK:
Landon's a very athletic QB who can escape pressure while creating added space for himself.
POISE:
He’s a very confident QB who’s skilled at every level. In control of the offensive unit as he leads them downfield. Very comfortable within the pocket, showing patience and poise.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He does a great job picking up on defensive pressure, stepping up or moving laterally.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s very skilled at reading coverage, taking advantage of weak spots within the defense. Very decisive with his throws, leaving the defenses little time to react.
TOUCH:
His throws include tight trajectory on the deep ball along with a soft release when needed at the short and intermediate range.
