SIZE:
Baron has excellent size for a 2020 Pro Style QB at 6'2" 210 lbs. Able to use his size to his advantage whether its as a pocket passer or while on the run. High extension of his release location, giving added height to his throws. Very durable in the pocket with good patience.
ACCURACY:
He’s able to make throws within the secondary that are right on target with his receivers. Does a nice job leading the receivers with good ball placement and timing. Tight spiral throws made sharp precision at short and intermediate range.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws over the middle are tight, with good velocity and quick release. Able to hit his receivers in stride. An area of strength is his vertical passing game.
RELEASE:
He throws the ball with a classic over the top release and fully extended arm motion. This allows for the ball to get out quickly, giving the defense very little time to react.
THROW ON RUN:
Baron's very comfortable in the backfield, whether its as a pocket passer or rolling out on the run. He shows good positioning of the ball and footwork. Squares up nicely with his intended target.
FOOTWORK:
An athletic QB who displays good footwork on his dropbacks and set ups.
POISE:
He does a nice job picking up defensive pressure and developing a secondary plan.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He displays good patience and awareness in and around the pocket. Very good lateral movement, able to escape the pressure and create something on his own.
DECISION MAKING:
Baron does a nice job picking up on defensive reads. Gets the ball off in a hurry. Does a nice job adjusting the angle of his delivery when in tight space. Does take chance downfield.
TOUCH:
This can be an area he can work on, especially at short distances. Solid trajectory at long range.
