SIZE:
Dante has excellent size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 215 lbs. He’s able to see the entire field, standing in the pocket with a tall platform. With his size comes a strong arm, able to extend the defensive coverage.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, displaying a tight spiral and catchable ball. Doesn’t lose much while on the run. Very consistent in his delivery.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is one of his QB strengths, his ability to make throws with high velocity, getting to his receivers in a hurry. He can make deep passes with ease, extending defensive coverage.
RELEASE:
Dante has perfected his craft, very good throwing mechanics with fluid motion. He has an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm-motion.
THROW ON RUN:
As he continues to work on his footwork, Dante will be able to add an outside passing game into his arsenal. Shows good quickness out in the open field, while rotating his body as he lines up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
This will be an area of improvement for Dante, not considered a Dual Threat but would be usage to add the ability to pick up yardage on short gain opportunities.
POISE:
He’s very confident in his abilities as a QB, shows great patience while waiting for his receivers breaks. He’s a leader on the field, as he guides his offensive unit.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Able to focus on the play, not easily distracted by the noise around him. He does a nice job creating space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
Dante’s a very intelligent QB who's does a nice job hitting his initial target. Able to assess the defense while hitting his best option receivers. Works well through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Has the quality of adding a soft touch on his throws with the ability to make the right adjustments on the velocity of his throws.
