SIZE:
Drew has good size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6'1" 200 lbs. He shows good patience in the pocket, able to wait for the play to develop. Throws with a high release point, giving his throws added height. A strong running QB, able to pick up in short yardage situations.
ACCURACY:
This QB is almost always right on the mark. Consistent delivery, allowing for less variations in his arm motion. Very good at picking up the timing and anticipation of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Drew can turn up the notch with increased acceleration throughout his delivery. His throws are made with high velocity, getting the ball to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
A fully extended arm motion which comes out from over the top. A high release point, giving his passes added height.
THROW ON RUN
Drew is most comfortable within the pocket but can also be quite effective out in the open field. He maintains the same consistency and velocity on his throws outside the pocket.
POISE:
Very calm demeanor within the pocket as he works to assess the defensive coverage. He doesn’t let the outside noise take his away from his game.
POCKET PRESENCE:
This is where Drew works at his best. He’s calm under pressure, while maintaining consistency on his throws and good vision downfield.
DECISION MAKING:
Drew does a nice job on his defensive reads, able to use every option available to him. Very decisive with his delivery, a quick hitting QB.
TOUCH:
Good touch on his throws that are made within zone coverage and well as on the deeper routes. He does a nice job adjusting the velocity of his throws.
