SIZE:
Jack has excellent size for a 2020 Pro Style QB at 6’4” 210 lbs. He’s a premier talent who has all of the skills required to become an elite QB. It all starts with size, a tall presence in the backfield, able to oversee the entire field. He’s a very durable QB who’s a strong runner out in the open field.
ACCURACY:
He leaves very little room for deviation on his delivery. Its very consistent on every throw, hitting his mark with high velocity throws made with precision.
ARM STRENGTH:
One of the strongest arms from the 2020 class, if not the strongest. He can let it rip at short range or let it fly at long distances, 40-50 yds out. His strength in arm opens up the entire field for other opportunities. High velocity throws that can slice up a defense.
RELEASE:
A fully extended arm motion coming from all the way back. Building up momentum as it comes across the top, generating accelerated speed.
THROW ON RUN:
Its very difficult to contain this QB, he’s so athletic, moving across the backfield with excellent mobility. Does a great job squaring up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
A long stride runner with very good speed, he can pick up chunks of yardage in a hurry. Excellent footwork on his dropbacks and roll outs.
POISE:
Jack’s plays at a different level than most players on the field. He’s controls the tempo of the game based on his play. He’s a playmaker that the defense has to focus on at all times. He can hurt you with his arm or can take it in as he breaks through the defense.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He throws with a tall platform, able to survey the entire field for potential targets. There is no distance that he can’t hit on. Able to pick up on defensive pressure as he works his way around traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
Jack does a great job working through his progressions. He locks in on his primary target and then sways towards his secondary outlets. Very good read on defense schemes as he takes advantage of their weaknesses.
TOUCH:
Very good touch at every level. He’s able to adjust the velocity of his throws when the passing situation calls for it.
