Scouting Report

SIZE:
Martin has good size for a 2019 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 190 lbs. He stands in the pocket with a tall platform, able to see the entire field. Throws with a fully extended release, giving the ball added height.
ACCURACY:
This is an area in which he excels in. Able to hit his receivers with passes that are in-line and catchable with tight spirals. Shows good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Martin can hit on all areas of the field, making throws with a long swooping delivery that gets across quickly with good velocity.
RELEASE:
He has an over the top delivery that comes across with a fully extended arm release. Able to generate momentum through his arm motion, creating greater velocity throws.
THROW ON RUN:
Martin's most comfortable within the pocket, but can take it to the outside with solid footwork and mobility. His throws are made with precision, able to maintain his accuracy while on the run. His throwing mechanics are dead on and consistent in any situation.
FOOTWORK:
Good agility in and around the pocket. Shows good speed moving laterally as he tries to create additional space for himself.
POISE:
Able to handle defensive pressure with the patience and calm needed to get through difficult situations.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Does a great job in extending the play with his ability to navigate himself around the pocket for added space.
DECISION MAKING:
A very intelligent QB who’s able to read the defense and locate his best option receiver. An aggressive QB who's not afraid to take chances downfield. Gives his receivers an opportunity to make a play on the ball. Gets the ball out there in a hurry with solid ball placement.
TOUCH:
Another area of strength for Martin, he’s skilled at making the right adjustments with his throws, whether its at high velocity or by allowing for a softer release.
