SIZE:
Jayden has very good size for a 2020 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 200 lbs. He plays at a higher level than the players on the field. Able to control the flow of the game with his play. His throws come from a high release point, adding height to his delivery.
ACCURACY:
This is a key QB attribute for Jayden, able to complete passes with sharp precision. Threw for a 70% completion rate this past season. His throws are on time with good anticipation, displaying excellent ball location.
ARM STRENGTH:
Able to extend his vertical passing game with further distance and efficient trajectory. His short and intermediate game include high velocity passes, firing bullets into the secondary.
RELEASE:
Throwing mechanics are consistent and very well put together. Jayden throws with an over the top delivery, including a full extended arm motion. Does a nice job adjusting the angle of his delivery when needed.
THROW ON RUN:
The complete package, a proven pocket passer with the ability to take it in and go. He’s a defense’s worst nightmare when he gets to the outside, many weapons in his arsenal.
FOOTWORK:
An athletic QB who's also very competitive. He displays a quick first step and can turn up the burners when needed. Very good footwork within the pocket, moving quickly laterally as he works to create space.
POISE:
Jayden’s very confident in his Dual Threat abilities, able to change the flow of a game with his play. His play on the field ignites others around him to want to excel.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Does a great job detecting the pass rush, able to escape while displaying his play making abilities.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s very decisive when he sees an opportunity within the secondary. Would like to see more patience and an increased ability to work through his progressions as opposed to taking the ball in for a run.
TOUCH:
A strong armed passer who’s learned to make the proper adjustments to the velocity of his throws while creating a softer touch when needed.
