SIZE:
Koen has good size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 5'11" 170 lbs. He shows good toughness in the pocket as he must hurry his throws as a result of incoming pressure. His throws include a very high release point, adding more height to his passes.
ACCURACY:
He’s on the mark with his throws made at the short and intermediate range. Displays good throwing mechanics which are consistent on delivery. Good anticipation of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
A quick hitting QB who shows good arm strength at the short and intermediate range. Able to generate momentum through his fully extended arm motion. Would like to see more deep passes on film, but incoming pressure didn't allow that.
THROW ON RUN:
Koen's most comfortable as a pure pocket passer. He can work to the outside with good mobility if needed but he works best in the pocket where he shows good vision.
FOOTWORK:
Solid footwork on his drop backs as well as his set ups. An athletic QB who shows good mobility in and around the pocket.
POISE:
He stays focused in the pocket, not easily distracted by the noise around him. He shows confidence in his ability to lead his team downfield. Good feel of defensive pressure, able to side step for added space.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Koen does a nice job getting the ball off in time before incoming pressure. Shows good command of the offensive unit.
DECISION MAKING:
Able to work quickly, seeking out his primary receivers and releasing the ball without hesitation. Should be able to work on this with more game experience.
TOUCH:
Has done a good job adjusting the velocity of his throws while adding a softer release.
