Scouting Report

SIZE:
Teddy has excellent size for a 2021 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 180 lbs. Stands in with a tall platform, able to see the entire field. He’s difficult to contain within the pocket, most dangerous while on the run with good vision and elusiveness. Should be able to add some bulk to his frame prior to entering the collegiate level.
ACCURACY:
Able to maintain his accuracy, whether he’s in the pocket or on the run. Excellent body positioning as he sets up for delivery. Excellent ball placement. Has worked to improve on his accuracy with more consistency this season.
ARM STRENGTH:
Teddy’s throws are made of high velocity and an accelerated arm motion. A strong armed QB who can let it rip anywhere on the field. He can extend the field with his vertical throws or thread the needle within the secondary.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery and a fully extended arm release, getting the ball across in a hurry. The ball comes off quickly, restricting the defense’s reaction time.
THROW ON RUN:
Teddy can punish a defense with his ability to keep a play alive while on the run. He can hurt you with either his legs or his arm, very hard to defend.
FOOTWORK:
He’s a legit Dual Threat, with quickness, elusiveness and vision. A nice compliment to his passing game. A playmaker who’s can improvise while on the run.
POISE:
Teddy's not easily distracted by the noise around him, he thrives on chaos and is very instinctive. Shows good aware of the defensive pressure as he works around it.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility in and around the pocket, able to get away from traffic while seeking out a safe zone for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a nice job working through his options while surveying the field. Able to make smart decisions while on the run.
TOUCH:
Teddy does a very good job making the right adjustments to his delivery and he works to create a softer release. His deep passes include a tight trajectory with just enough air underneath.
