SIZE:
Scott has very good size for a 2023 Pro Style QB at 6'1" 190 lbs. He works the entire backfield as he uses his mobility to gain added space for himself as he seeks out opportunities. Extremely difficult to contain because his feet are always moving.
ACCURACY:
A very accurate passer at short & intermediate range. Remains consistent while on the go. Does a nice job getting his body squared up to his receiver as he works from the outside the pocket. Showing good timing and anticipation of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Scott's able to deliver the football with strong forward momentum on his short and intermediate routes. Throws made with high velocity, getting to his receivers in a hurry. Solid vertical passing game, throws made of tight trajectory.
RELEASE:
His throws come from over the top with a fully extended arm motion. Solid footwork prior to his set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
Scott's a hybrid QB, comfortable working from a pocket passer to a dual threat. He’s very difficult to contain and can take it to the outside at any time, showing good speed and quickness. Good ball location and body rotation.
FOOTWORK:
Definitely one of Scott's best attributes is his ability to keep plays alive with his feet. A playmaker on the field, able to control the pace of a game.
POISE:
He’s got strong confidence in himself, able to take over a game with his athleticism. Does a great job picking up on defensive pressure.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility and movement in and out of the pocket. Able to work within the space around him as he shows good vision downfield.
DECISION MAKING:
Scott excels in his ability to work within an RPO system, following his reads with quick decisions. Aggressive playmaker seeking big play opportunities downfield.
TOUCH:
Very impressed in his ability to ease off the ball when a softer release is needed.
