SIZE:
Brenden has excellent size for a 2020 Dual Threat QB at 6’5” 205 lbs. He stands in the pocket with a tall platform, able to survey the entire field. A tall and lengthy QB who's very agile within the pocket. A long stride QB who picks up chunks of yards at a time.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, showing precision passes made at the short and intermediate range. Good anticipation and timing with his receivers over the middle.
ARM STRENGTH:
Brenden has the advantage of size, which gives him an extended arm motion and longer throws. This helps in his vertical passing game. Passing made within the secondary include high velocity throws.
RELEASE:
Throws with a classic over the top delivery with a high release point at a three quarter arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Brenden's an athletic QB who’s able to get to the outside with fluid movement. He shows good forward momentum upon delivery as he fires the ball toward his intended targets.
FOOTWORK:
With his size, he doesn't lose much in his quickness and elusiveness. He has a huge advantage in leg stride, able to pick up yardage in a hurry.
POISE:
Shows good patience in the backfield, creating a mental clock within.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Works well with his offensive unit. Able to execute the play from beginning to end.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a nice job using all of his weapons, going from his primary target on down to secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
Very good touch on the deeper routes, displaying solid trajectory with just enough air underneath.
