SIZE:
Aidan has very good size for a 2023 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 185 lbs. This QB's very polished, a game manager on the field. Solid throwing mechanics. Will be making lots of noise out of New Mexico these next couple years.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with a consistent delivery, tight spiral and excellent location. Excellent throwing mechanics which add to his accuracy.
ARM STRENGTH:
His vertical game is virtually unstoppable with tight trajectory and distance. This stretches the defense, which lets Aidan take advantage of gaps within zone coverage. His intermediate throws are made with a strong release and high velocity.
RELEASE:
Throws the ball with an over the top extension, allowing for the ball to rise upon release. He gets the ball over in a hurry. Excellent throwing mechanics with very good footwork upon set up.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who can get to the outside quickly with solid footwork and mobility.
FOOTWORK:
He shows good agility in and out of the pocket, good lateral swing in either direction. He a pure pocket passer who can take the ball in on short yardage situations.
POISE:
This is a major strength area. He's very patient in the pocket as he waits for the play to develop. Very calm under pressure.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Aidan owns the pocket, he’s in full control when on the field. He controls the flow of the game. He shows good awareness of the defensive pressure, able to work around it.Does a great job going through his progressions, from his primary targets on down to his secondary outlets. A very intelligent QB who has a very good understanding for the game.
TOUCH:
Touch passes made at every level of the field is how to describe Aidan's skill at making the proper adjustments to the velocity of his throws.
