SIZE:
AJ has very good size for a 2026 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 195 lbs. He’s a pure pocket passer who’s uses his height and vision to be able to survey the field. A strong armed QB who’s able to reach all areas of the field.
ACCURACY:
Sharp precision passing with very good timing and anticipation. His throws include a tight trajectory and good ball location.
ARM STRENGTH
AJ displays very good arm strength, making throws of high velocity over the middle as well as able to reach both ends of the sidelines. A vertical passing game that needs to be respected.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with full extension. Well balanced stride on his drop backs and set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
Good lateral movement getting to the outside, as he works to pin down a target. Gets himself in line as he squares up towards his receiver. Strong forward momentum upon his release.
FOOTWORK:
A pocket passer who can work to add speed and quickness to his game.
POISE:
Good patience as he waits for his receiver’s breaks on their routes. A winner on the field who holds many championships at every level.
POCKET PRESENCE:
AJ's very comfortable as pocket passer, he’s skilled in his ability to throw the ball at certain locations, prior to the receiver making his cut. Does a nice job picking up defensive pressure.
DECISION MAKING:
Solid work moving from his primary to secondary reads. Very decisive with his delivery, able to pick up on coverage while hitting his best option.
TOUCH:
This is an area of skill for AJ. A strong throwing QB who can take something off the velocity of his throws for added touch.
