Alexander has excellent size for a 2022 Dual Threat QB at 6’3” 200 lbs. A tall presence in the pocket, able to survey the entire field. Stands out with his athletic ability on the field, able to take over a game. Very good agility and lateral movement within the backfield. A strong running QB with good quickness and agility.
ACCURACY:
His throws include sharp precision, tight spiral delivery which are in-line with his receivers. Extremely accurate at short and intermediate range. Good timing of his receivers routes, especially over the middle.
ARM STRENGTH:
A strong throwing QB with unlimited range and accuracy. He can let it rip, making throws of high velocity or ease up for a softer delivery. Solid vertical passing game, opening things underneath.
RELEASE:
A classic over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. He’s able to gain acceleration throughout his arm motion for added strength.
THROW ON RUN:
Alexander doesn’t lose much on accuracy while he’s on the run. He shows good forward momentum and consistency while maintaining his focus in his target. Very good body rotation and positioning while squaring up to his targets.
FOOTWORK:
He’s very agile and displays a quickness in step. Shows good mobility within the pocket, able to separate himself from traffic.
POISE:
Alexander displays strong confidence in his abilities as a QB, and trusts in his accuracy. Able to pick up on defensive pressure, stepping up in the pocket.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Shows good awareness of the space around him. Remains focused on the play, displaying good patience.
DECISION MAKING:
Very good initial read on the defensive coverage, able to hit on his primary target with a bullet. Very decisive on his throws, wasting very little time.
TOUCH:
A strong throwing QB who can also make the right adjustments on his velocity for a softer delivery.
