SIZE:
Amari has very good size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 190 lbs. He’s able to see the entire field, standing in the pocket with a tall platform. With his size comes a strong arm, able to extend the field, reaching well over coverage.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, displaying a tight spiral and catchable ball. Doesn’t lose much while on the run. Very consistent in his delivery.
ARM STRENGTH:
Throws made with tight rotational spin, getting the ball to his receiver in a hurry. He can make deep passes with ease, extending coverage.
RELEASE:
Amari continues to perfect his craft, very good throwing mechanics with fluid motion. He has an over the top delivery with three-quarter extension. Can work to add a fully accelerated motion, creating greater velocity.
THROW ON RUN:
As he continues to work on his footwork, Amari will be able to add an outside passing game into his arsenal. Shows good quickness out in the open field while getting his body in line with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
This will be an area of improvement for Amari, not considered a Dual Threat but could be useful with the ability to pick up yardage in short gain opportunities.
POISE:
He’s very confident in his abilities as a QB, shows good patience while waiting for his receivers breaks. He’s a leader on the field as he guides his offensive unit.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Able to focus on the play, not easily distracted by the noise around him. He does a nice job creating space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
Amari's an intelligent QB who works well in 7v7 play. Able to assess the defense while hitting his best option receivers. Works well through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Has the ability of adding a soft touch on his throws by making the right adjustments on the velocity of his throws.
