SIZE: Andrew has very good size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 178 lbs. He’s projected at 6’4” once he reaches the collegiate level. Able to use his size to his advantage whether its as a pocket passer or while on the run. High extension of his release location, giving added height to his throws. ACCURACY: This is an area of skill for Andrew. He’s able to make throws within the secondary that are right on target with his receivers. Does a nice job leading the receivers with good ball placement and timing. ARM STRENGTH: His throws over the middle are on a rope, with high velocity and quick release. Able to extend the field with a strong arm, able to hit his receivers in stride. RELEASE: He throws the ball with a classic over the top release, with a three quarter delivery. This allows for the ball to get out quickly, giving the defense very little time to react. THROW ON RUN: Andrew is very comfortable in the backfield, whether its as a pocket passer or rolling out on the run. He shows good positioning of the ball and solid footwork. Squares up nicely with his intended target. FOOTWORK: He’s an athletic QB, a three sport athlete who shows good movement and agility out on the field. Very good footwork on his dropbacks and also prior to his set ups. POISE: His leadership on the field is displayed on film, in full control of his offensive unit. He does a nice job picking up defensive pressure and developing a secondary plan. POCKET PRESENCE: He displays good patience and awareness in and around the pocket. Very good lateral movement, able to escape the pressure and create something on his own. A playmaker who can improvise on the fly. DECISION MAKING: Andrew’s a very intelligent QB, able to pick up on defensive reads, and attacking their weaknesses. Does a nice job going through his progressions. TOUCH: This is an area of strength for Andrew. He can be a finesse passer when needed or can turn up the dial with high velocity throws in the heart of the defense.
