SIZE:
Austin has good size for a 2027 Pro Style QB at 5’4” 105 lbs. A rhythmic passer who gets the ball off in a hurry. A fully extended arm motion, giving the ball added lift to his delivery. He'll be able to add bulk to his frame prior to entering the high school level.
ACCURACY:
When given the time and space, Austin is very accurate. He works well within the pocket, picking up on quick reads. A quick hitting QB who gets the ball to his receivers in a hurry.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to make all of the throws required of him. Tight trajectory of throws made over the middle.
RELEASE:
Austin delivers the ball with a high release point. An over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Solid footwork prior to set up of delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
Austin's most comfortable in the pocket but can also venture out with athletic ability.
FOOTWORK:
He shows good agility in and out of the pocket. Can work to add speed and quickness to his game. Well balanced stride on his backdrops and set ups.
POISE:
He’s gaining more confidence with continued reps. Makes throws of high percentage.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Works quickly within the pocket, getting the ball off in a hurry. Attacks the defense with decisive throws.
DECISION MAKING:
With more game experience, especially at the high school level, Austin will be able enhance his ability to read defenses. He does a nice job seeking out his primary target.
TOUCH:
Able to adjust the velocity of delivery for a a softer release.
