SIZE:
Ben has very good size for a 2028 Dual Threat QB at 5’11" 160 lbs. He plays well above the level of his peers. Working with the Varsity team as an 8th Grade QB. He uses the entire backfield as his workspace. Very difficult to contain within the pocket. Plays with a controlled aggressiveness.
ACCURACY:
He gives his receivers the ability to make a play on the ball. Sharp precision passing at every level. His throws include a tight spiral, making for a very catchable ball. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is not an issue for Ben, high velocity throws get to his receivers in a hurry. The defense is left with no time to react. He can fire the ball into tight windows of space or let it fly over coverage.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with full arm extension. Works well to get the ball across quickly.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who can be quite dangerous out on the open field. Ben can shift gears in a hurry. Excellent vision downfield while on the run.
FOOTWORK:
This is an area of strength for Ben. His steps are sharp and his mobility is smooth.
POISE:
Extremely confident in his abilities as a QB. He controls the pace of a game and can turn it up at any moment, a playmaker.
DECISION MAKING:
Very decisive with his throws downfield, wasting very little time getting the ball off. Displays a calm aggressiveness while attacking the defense. Taking chances when he sees an opportunity, trusting in his ability to get the ball to his receivers.
TOUCH:
He does a great job adjusting the velocity of his throws. Able to add a softer touch when needed.
