SIZE:
Ben has excellent size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 190 lbs. He’s able to see the entire field, standing in the pocket with a tall platform. With his size comes a strong arm, able to extend the defensive coverage. Very good lower body strength.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, displaying a tight spiral and catchable ball. Loses a bit of accuracy at longer distances. Would like to see a tighter trajectory.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is one of his strengths, his ability to make throws with high velocity. Very good range, getting the ball up and over coverage. Can work to eliminate air underneath.
RELEASE:
Ben continues to perfect his craft, sharpening up his throwing mechanics. He has an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm-motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Shows good mobility out in the open field. Would like to see added quickness and speed.
FOOTWORK:
Well balanced stride on his dropbacks. Solid footing on his set ups. Can add a quicker first step.
POISE:
Confident in his abilities as a QB, good patience while waiting for his receivers breaks.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Able to focus while in the pocket, not distracted by the noise around him.
DECISION MAKING:
With more game experience and reps, Ben will be able to work fluidly through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Has the ability of adding a soft touch on his throws by making the right adjustments on the velocity of his throws.
