SIZE:
Blake has excellent size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’4” 215 lbs. He’s a tall presence in the pocket, able to oversee the entire field for potential targets. Throws with an over the top delivery, adding height to the ball’s trajectory.
ACCURACY:
Blake’s throws are placed with sharp precision and timing. He shows good anticipation of receivers routes along with proper ball placement. Doesn't lose much on his accuracy at long range.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws are made with high velocity at short and intermediate range. Demonstrates the ability to extend the field with his vertical passing game.
RELEASE
Throws with an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion, giving his throws added height and momentum.
THROW ON RUN:
Blake’s an athletic QB who shows good quickness getting to the outside. He works well through his body rotation as he squares up with his target.
FOOTWORK:
For a QB of Blake's size, he does a nice job getting his feet in the proper positioning prior to release. Very good spacing and balance while in stride.
POISE:
He’s a confident QB with sound judgement.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Shows good patience in the pocket, able to work effectively through his progrssions.
DECISION MAKING:
Blake does a nice job locating his primary target, getting the ball out there in a hurry. Will add to his progrssions with more game experience.
TOUCH:
A soft delivery at mid-rnage, a nice complement of his very dangerous long vertical passing game.
