SIZE:
Blake has excellent size for a 2024 Pro Style QB at 6’2” 205 lbs. He’s a quick hitting QB who gets the ball out in a hurry. A strong-armed QB who remains consistent on every throw.
ACCURACY:
This QB is very accurate at every level of the field. His throws are made with high percentage results, in-line with his receivers. Excellent ball location.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws include high velocity, getting through the secondary in a hurry. Very dangerous vertical passing game with good range. Strong forward momentum while on the run.
RELEASE:
Throws with an over the top delivery, including a high release point. Displays good footwork as he works into his set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Good quickness and speed as he gets himself to the outside. Strong forward momentum on his throws, as he zones in on his target.
FOOTWORK:
Very good agility within the pocket, moving laterally while creating additional space for himself.
POISE:
Able to pick up on the defensive pressure. Good feel for the space around him. He’s a confident QB who's not afraid to take chances.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He uses the entire backfield as his work area. Can sit in the pocket or take it to the outside, opening up additional passing lanes.
DECISION MAKING:
With most of his offensive plays including quick hitters, Blake does a nice job locating his primary targets. With more game experience, he should be able to enhance his decision making skills.
TOUCH:
Another area a strength, able to add a soft touch on short bubble screens as a well on fade route. Tight trajectory at long range.
