Braden has good size for a 2029 Dual Threat QB at 5'5' 115 lbs. An intelligent QB who understands the game. Good vision downfield as he’s able to create space for himself, opening up additional passing lanes.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, adding a tight spiral upon release. Shows good timing and ball placement as he leads his receivers in stride.
ARM STRENGTH:
Displays good range, able to hit in all areas of the field. Loses a bit on trajectory at longer distances. Would like to see his delivery include full extension.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery made with full extension. It comes across quickly with increased acceleration throughout his arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Displays good mobility as he works to the outside. Squares up with his intended target as he releases the ball.
FOOTWORK:
Quick steps on his dropbacks, sets up evenly prior to delivery. He demonstrates good quickness out in the open field.
POISE:
With more game experience, Braden will gain more confidence as he works to perfect his craft. He does a nice job serving as a Dual Threat QB, working fluidly from a Pocket Passer.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility and movement in and around the pocket. Able to maintain his focus while working his way through traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
Able to use the entire field as he hits his targets with decisive throws.
TOUCH:
He does a nice job taking something off the ball, adding a softer release. He can work to improve on creating a tighter trajectory.
