SIZE:
Braden has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 5'11" 165 lbs. He does a nice job working his way in and around the backfield to create open passing lanes for himself. Throws the ball with an over the top delivery, adding height to his throws.
ACCURACY:
He shows good anticipation of his receivers routes, hitting them while in stride. Makes completions with very good ball placement.
ARM STRENGTH:
Braden shows good range, able to hit on high velocity throws. Can make all the throws required of him, able to hit in all areas of the field. Can work to add increased acceleration throughout his arm motion.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery with a three-quarter extension. Good footwork on his drop backs as he sets up for delivery.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who works well to the outside of the pocket, able to seek out potential targets. He does a nice job getting in line with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
Shows good speed at a 4.7/40, able to break free from would-be tacklers, with a burst of speed. He’s displays the ability to become elusive while out in the open field.
POISE:
Strong confidence in his abilities as a Dual Threat QB, able to take advantage of what the defense gives him.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Braden has a good feel for the space around him. He’s difficult to contain within the pocket, showing good agility and elusiveness.
DECISION MAKING:
Braden's a quick hitting QB who makes quick reads and delivers with decisive throws.
TOUCH:
Does a nice job making adjustment to the velocity of his throws, creating a softer touch in between zone coverage.
