SIZE:
Brady has very good size for a 2023 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 185 lbs. He’s able to see the entire field, standing in the pocket with a tall platform. He attacks a defense with a controlled aggressiveness. Very methodical while seeking out big plays downfield. Able to extend the field with a solid vertical passing game.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, displaying a tight spiral and catchable ball. He shows good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes. Displaying very good location on his throws, allowing his receivers to make a play on it. Threw for a 64% completion rate this past season.
ARM STRENGTH:
High velocity throws at short and intermediate range, getting to his receivers in a hurry. He can make deep passes with ease, extending the field with bombs over coverage.
RELEASE:
Throws the ball with a fully extended arm motion that comes from over the top. He does a nice job adjusting the angle of his delivery when the space is limited around him.
THROW ON RUN:
He shows good quickness out in the open field. Gets his body in-line with his receivers as he sets up for delivery. Strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
An athletic QB who shows good mobility in and around the pocket. Not considered a Dual Threat but could be used as a running QB in short yard situations.
POISE:
He’s very confident in his abilities as a QB, shows good patience while waiting for his receivers breaks. He’s a leader on the field, as he guides his offensive unit.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of incoming pressure, not easily distracted by the noise around him. He does a nice job creating space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
Brady's an intelligent QB who displays good judgment when locating his primary target down field. Able to assess coverage and deliver a strike to his receiver. Works well through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Has the quality of adding a soft touch on his throws with the ability to make the right adjustments on the velocity of his throws.
