SIZE:
Brady has excellent size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 205 lbs. A very tall presence in the backfield, able to see the entire field. A long stride running QB, picking up huge chunks of yardage on the run. Will be able to add bulk to his frame before entering the collegiate level.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with sharp precision, able to hit his receivers while in stride. He’s deadly over the middle with a quick release.. Loses a bit of accuracy at long range.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can make every throw expected of him. Increased accelerated arm motion, allows for throws made with high velocity at the short and intermediate range. Very effective vertical passing game, with strong throws that extend the field.
RELEASE:
Very skilled at making the right adjustments on the angle of his throws, depending on the passing situation. He’s an over the top passer who can go from a fully extended arm motion. Shows very good footwork prior to release.
THROW ON RUN:
Displays good quickness and speed getting to the outside, picking up on potential targets.
FOOTWORK:
Gets out of the box in a hurry. He’s a long stride runner. Good footwork on his drop backs and prior to set up.
POISE:
Brady displays good awareness of defensive pressure around him, able to create added space for himself within the pocket. Very confident in his QB abilities. Able to improvise on the go.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good sense of the traffic around him while keeping focused on the play. Good patience, waiting for the play to fully develop.
DECISION MAKING:
Brady's a quick thinking QB, capable of reading the defense and locating his best option receiver. Works well through his progressions.
TOUCH:
This is a major strenth area for Brady. He does a nice job making the right adjustments on the velocity of his throws, creating a softer touch when needed.
