SIZE:
Brady has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6'1" 186 lbs. A very competitive player on the field. A playmaker on the field able to take over a game. Does a nice job working his way in and around the backfield while creating open passing lanes for himself.
ACCURACY:
This is a major strength area for Brady. He shows good anticipation of his receivers routes. Makes completions with very good ball placement, up and away from defenders. Throws are made in-line with his receivers.
ARM STRENGTH:
He shows good range, able to hit on high velocity throws. Strong throws made in between tight windows of space. Can make all the throws required of him, able to hit in all areas of the field.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery with a full extended arm motion. Very good footwork on his drop backs and setups.
THROW ON RUN:
This is another area of strength for Brady. He works well outside of the pocket, able to seek out potential targets. He does a nice job getting in line with his receivers. Excellent ball positioning while on the run, ready at all times.
FOOTWORK:
Quick first step out out of the box. Shows good speed as he works through the defense while on the run. He displays the ability to become elusive out in the open field. With greater burst of speed he can be considered a very dangerous Dual Threat.
POISE:
He shows strong confidence in his abilities as a pure Pocket Passer, able to take advantage of what the defense gives him. Brady controls the pace of the game by his play on the field.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Quick work in and around the pocket. Has a good feel for the space around him. He’s difficult to contain within the pocket, showing good agility and elusiveness.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s a quick hitting QB who makes quick reads and delivers with decisive throws. An intelligent QB who understands the game.
TOUCH:
Does a nice job making the right adjustment to the velocity of his throws, creating a softer touch when needed, especially at the intermediate range. Tight trajectory made at long range.
