Brandt has excellent size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 6’5” 218 lbs. He’s a pure pocket passer who uses his size to his advantage, able to survey the entire field. A strong armed QB who can make very throw. Virtually unstoppable at long range with bombs delivered downfield. Averaged 16 yds per completion this past season.
ACCURACY:
Has perfected the ability to get the ball to a certain area on the field, with excellent timing and anticipation. He’s throws include good ball location.
ARM STRENGTH
With size comes arm strength. And this QB delivers. High velocity throws with increased acceleration over the middle, along with the ability to reach both ends of the sidelines. He also possess a vertical game that needs to be respected.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery held way back with full extension. Displays good footwork on his drop backs and set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
Good lateral movement getting to the outside, as he works to pin down a target. Squares up with his receiver, making throws of strong forward momentum upon release.
FOOTWORK:
Good agility in and around the pocket. Can work to add speed and quickness to his game.
POISE:
Good patience as he waits for his receiver’s breaks on their routes. Playing at the Varsity level this past season, Brandt has been able to gain confidence in his ability to lead at a higher level. He’s got the right tools to become an elite QB.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very comfortable as pocket passer, he’s skilled in his ability to throw the ball at a specific location prior to his receivers' cut. Able to pick up on pressure.
DECISION MAKING:
On film, he does a nice job moving from primary to his secondary outlets. Decisive with his delivery, able to pick up on coverage, hitting his best option receiver.
TOUCH:
This is an area of skill for Brandt. He’s a strong throwing QB who can take something off the velocity of his throws for added touch.
