SIZE:
Braxton has good size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6'0" 170 lbs. A skilled QB who can hurt a defense in many ways. Tall platform in the pocket, with good vision downfield. A strong running QB who shows good balance and leg strength.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with sharp precision and timing. He does a good job lining up with his receivers. Excellent ball placement, up and away from defenders.
ARM STRENGTH:
Braxton throws the ball with high velocity. He’s able to squeeze the ball in tight windows of space. Solid vertical passing game, able to get it up and over the coverage.
THROW ON RUN:
Braxton can be quite dangerous while out of the pocket. He shows good vision downfield while seeking out potential targets. Strong forward momentum as he delivers the ball with added force.
FOOTWORK:
Displays excellent mobility in and out of the pocket. He demonstrates bursts of speed along with the ability to make defenders miss with his athleticism.
POISE:
As a Freshman he's played at the varsity level. Very confident in his abilities as a QB. Very comfortable leading his offensive unit, serving as a Pocket Passer or a pure Dual Threat. Does a nice job picking up on defensive pressure, able to slide in either direction for relief.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very agile within the pocket, able to create adding passing lanes for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
Braxton's an intelligent QB, able to read coverage as he picks up on his best option receivers. High percentage throws made with good ball placement.
TOUCH:
He’s a strong throwing QB who delivers the deep ball with tight trajectory. Can also add a softer release at the short and intermediate range.
