SIZE:
Broc has very good size for a 2023 Dual Threat QB at 6'2" 195 lbs. Works well within the pocket as he uses his mobility to gain added space. Attacks the defense while seeking out big play opportunities downfield. He's plays well above the level of competition. A competitive player who attacks a defense every chance he gets.
ACCURACY:
Excellent throwing mechanics which remain consistent regardless of the passing situation. Does a nice job getting his body squared up to his receiver as he works from the outside the pocket. Shows good timing and anticipation of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
This QB can let it rip. Strong forward momentum on his throws made at short and intermediate range. Delivers bombs downfield made at longer distances with tight trajectory.
RELEASE:
His throws come from over the top with a fully accelerated arm motion, allowing for the ball to get to his receivers in a hurry. Excellent footing and balance prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Broc's very dangerous out in the open field. He's very difficult to contain and can get the ball off in a hurry. Very good speed and quickness.
FOOTWORK:
An athletic QB who can turn it up at any given moment. A playmaker on the field, capable of controlling the pace of a game.
POISE:
Huge confidence in his abilities, able to take over a game with his skills and athleticism.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good agility and mobility in and out of the pocket. Able to work within the space, stepping up when the pocket collapses.
DECISION MAKING:
Broc displays good judgment on the field, working through his progressions as he seeks out potential targets.
TOUCH:
Very impressed in his ability to ease off the ball when a soft delivery is needed.
