SIZE:
Brodie has excellent size for a Pro Style QB at 6’2” 190 lbs. He stands in the pocket with a tall platform, surveying the entire field. A tall and lengthy QB who’ll continue to add bulk to his frame over the next few years. High release point gives him added height to his throws.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, displaying sharp precision over the middle. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Brodie has advantage of size, which gives him an extended arm motion and longer delivery. This adds to his vertical passing game. Throws made at short and intermediate range include high velocity.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a high release point. Skilled at adjusting the the angle of delivery whether in traffic or within tight spaces.
THROW ON RUN:
Brodie's an athletic QB who’s able to get to the outside with fluid movement. Displays strong forward momentum upon delivery as he fires the ball toward his intended target.
FOOTWORK:
An athletic QB with a longer leg stride, able to pick up yardage in a hurry. Would like to see a quicker first step and added speed to his game.
POISE:
He’s starting to get a good understanding of the game and his confidence will continue to go way up. Good patience within the pocket, trusting his mental clock, while getting the ball off.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Can work to add more agility, creating separation for himself. Gets the ball off in a hurry, taking what the defense gives him.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a nice job using all of his weapons, working from his primary target to secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
Very good touch on the deeper routes, displaying tight trajectory with just enough air underneath.
