SIZE:
Brody has excellent size for a 2027 Dual Threat QB at 6’1" 185 lbs. It all starts with size, a tall presence in the backfield, able to oversee the entire field. Strong delivery. He’s a very durable QB who’s a strong runner out in the open field.
ACCURACY:
He hits his mark with high velocity throws made with sharp precision. Tight trajectory on throws made downfield.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can let it rip at short range or let it fly at long distances. His strength in arm opens up the entire field for opportunities in the short game.
RELEASE:
A fully extended arm motion coming from way back. Increased momentum as it comes across the top, generating accelerated speed.
THROW ON RUN:
Most of his throws come from within the pocket but he can also take it outside. Nice work squaring up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
A long stride runner with very good speed, he can pick up chunks of yardage in a hurry. A strong running QB, taking on would-be tacklers. Can work to add sharper steps in the backfield.
POISE:
Brody plays at a different level than most players on the field. He’s controls the tempo of the game based on his play. He’s a playmaker that the defense has to focus on at all times. He can hurt you with his arm or can take it in as he breaks through the defense.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He throws with a tall platform, able to survey the entire field for potential targets. There is no distance that he can’t hit on. Picks up on pressure as he works his way around traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
He locks in on his primary target with good read. With more game reps he'll be able to work on going through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Very good touch at every level. He’s able to adjust the velocity of his throws when the passing situation calls for it.
