SIZE:
Cade has very good size for a 2023 Dual Threat QB at 6'4" 190 lbs. This QB plays well above the level of competition. He stands in the pocket with a tall platform, showing good vision downfield. A strong running QB, taking on would-be tacklers.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers. While on the run he does a good job squaring up with his intended target. Very good anticipation and ball placement. Will add to his accuracy with consistency in delivery.
ARM STRENGTH:
Cade throws the ball with high velocity. He’s able to squeeze the ball in tight windows of space. Solid vertical passing game, able to get it up and over coverage.
THROW ON RUN:
Cade can be quite dangerous while out of the pocket. He shows good vision downfield while seeking out his potential targets. Strong forward momentum on his delivery.
FOOTWORK:
Displays very good mobility in and out of the pocket. He demonstrates bursts of speed along with the ability to make defenders miss with his athleticism.
POISE:
Very confident leading his offensive unit, serving as a Pocket Passer or Dual Threat. Does a nice job picking up on incoming pressure, able to slide in either direction for relief.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very agile within the pocket, able to create adding passing lanes for himself. Would like to see him remain in the pocket as he follows through on the play.
DECISION MAKING:
Quick initial read, choosing his best option receiver. High percentage throws made downfield.
TOUCH:
A strong throwing QB who delivers the deep ball with tight trajectory but can include a softer release when needed.
