SIZE:
Cade has excellent size for a 2023 Dual Threat QB at 6’4” 205 lbs. He stands out from the other players on the field because of his size. A tall presence in the backfield, able to survey the field with excellent vision. A tough running QB who takes on would-be tacklers.
ACCURACY:
His throws are very catchable with good placement. He puts it in for his receivers to make a play on it. Throws made of sharp precision over the middle.
ARM STRENGTH:
Cade makes his throws seem so effortless. Very good arm strength with throws made of high velocity. Gets the ball to his receivers in a hurry. Very dangerous vertical passing game with throws made from 50-60 yds out.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery which comes from way back. The ball gets out in a hurry with increased acceleration. Well balanced stride on his drop backs.
THROW ON RUN:
He’s most comfortable within the pocket but shows good athleticism while out in the open field. Excellent vision downfield with the ability to lock in with his target.
FOOTWORK:
For a QB of his size, Cade is super quick. Runs a 4.6/40. He’s elusive downfield with the ability to side step would-be tacklers.
POISE:
He works well with his offensive unit, using all of his receivers. Shows very good patience in the pocket while waiting for a play to develop.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good feel of incoming pressure, working through his secondary options. A quick footed QB who works well to get away from traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
Very impressed in his ability to work through his progressions. This is his best QB attribute. Shows good patience and vision downfield.
TOUCH:
Displays tight trajectory on his deep passes with just enough air underneath.
