SIZE:
Caden has excellent size for a 2020 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 200 lbs. He’s a pure pocket passer who sits tall in the backfield, able to oversee the entire field. He throws with an over the top delivery, adding height to his throws.
ACCURACY:
This is a strength to Caden’s game. He shows very good patience as he waits for the play to develop. He’s skilled with the ability to see the entire field, opening up his options to all targets. Throws made with good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws get to his receivers in a hurry, passes made with high velocity. Able to zip the ball into tight windows of space within the secondary. His vertical game is legit with deep passes extending over defensive coverage.
RELEASE:
Caden throws left handed with an over the top delivery. His arm motion starts from three quarters back, with increased momentum. He release is compact, allowing for the ball to get off quickly.
THROW ON RUN:
An athletic QB who can get to the outside with good mobility and speed. Displays very good vision downfield, as well as rotation.
FOOTWORK:
He shows good movement within the backfield with his drop backs and set ups. Not considered a Dual Threat but can take it in for a short yardage pickup.
POISE:
Picked up some valuable experience as the starting Varsity QB this past season. He gets locked into the zone while picking apart a defense. Very calm under pressure, not fazed by the noise around him. A confident QB who’s super competitive and gives his all for the team.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He has a good sense for the space around him. Able to feel the incoming pressure. He’s most comfortable within the pocket, able to see the entire field.
DECISION MAKING:
This is an area of strength for Caden. He’s an intelligent QB, who's able to get a quick read on the defense, working from his primary targets, down to his secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
Nice touch in all areas of the field. Able to adjust the velocity of his throws.
