SIZE:
Caleb has very good size for a 2028 Pro Style QB at 5’9” 147 lbs. He stands in the pocket with a tall platform. Good length with a fully extended release, giving his throws added height. He'll continue to add bulk to his frame.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line and on target with his receivers, connecting with them, whether stationary or on the run.
ARM STRENGTH:
Caleb adds a tight rotational spin on the ball, snapping the ball with good wrist action. High velocity throws with increased momentum. Gets the ball to his intended target in a hurry.
:RELEASE:
Caleb will continue to work hard on his throwing mechanics, creating more consistency to his delivery. An over the top delivery with a high release point.
THROW ON RUN:
A lengthy QB who works to the outside with quickness. A long stride runner, picking up chunks of yardage on the go. Squares up while getting fixed on his target prior to set up.
FOOTWORK:
This will be an area of continuous progression. I see Caleb perfecting his skills as a running QB over time, combining his throwing ability with his potential as a legit Dual Threat. He’s an athletic QB with good lateral mobility and quickness.
POISE:
Works well to settle in while locking down on his target. He'll continue to add confidence in his ability to lead his team downfield with added game reps.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very agile in and around the pocket. He works well in all directions, displaying fluid lateral movement.
DECISION MAKING:
He’s very decisive on his delivery, wasting very little time getting the ball off.
TOUCH:
This will be another area of growth. Adjusting the velocity of his throws for a softer touch.
