SIZE:
Carson has very good size for a 2025 Dual Threat QB at 6'0" 170 lbs. Has the potential of becoming an elite collegiate prospect. Tall platform in the pocket with an over the top delivery and fully extended arm motion. Adds extra height to his throws with a high release point.
ACCURACY:
Sharp precision on his passes while stationary in the pocket. Maintains that consistency while on the run. He does a nice job getting his steps down before he sets up for delivery.
ARM STRENGTH:
This QB can let it rip from anywhere, displaying high velocity throws at every level. He can fire it within tight windows of space or let it fly on deeper routes. Many weapons to his arsenal.
RELEASE:
Carson has an over the top delivery with full extension, gaining added momentum to his delivery. He’s able to adjust the angle of delivery when space is limited and timing is imperative.
THROW ON RUN:
This is where he can be very dangerous, on the go. He’s an athletic QB who can take it in or connect with a target while on the fly. He’s a playmaker with the ability to take over a game.
FOOTWORK:
Good mobility in all directions. Gets out in the open field with a burst of speed, creating separation. He works the entire field, showing very good vision while on the run.
POISE:
He controls the tempo of the game, with the ability to turn it up at any moment. Very confident in his abilities as a Dual Threat.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very good sense of the traffic around him, able to clear space for himself. Very comfortable roaming the pocket while waiting for a potential target to appear.
DECISION MAKING:
Carson works best while on the fly. He’s able to improvise, and make sometime happen from nothing. A quick-thinking QB who wastes very little time getting the ball out.
TOUCH:
A strong throwing QB who can slow things down, creating a softer toss in between zone coverage when needed.
