Carson has very good size for a 2029 Dual Threat QB at 5'10" 140 lbs. A tall lengthy QB who'll continue to add bulk onto his frame. Stands in with a tall platform as he delivers the ball.
ACCURACY:
He throws a catchable ball, one made with a tight spiral. Displays good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
He can hit his receivers in all areas of the field, showing good strength in arm. Strong delivery at the short and intermediate range and throws made with tight trajectory downfield.
RELEASE:
Carson works with an over the top delivery and a full arm extension. He gets the ball out quickly with a compact arm motion.
THROW ON RUN:
Displays good mobility working his way to the outside, keeping his eyes downfield. Squares up with his target, releasing the ball with strong forward momentum.
FOOTWORK:
He shows solid footwork on his drop backs as well as prior to set up. Good speed and quickness out in the open field.
POISE
He shows good patience as he waits for his receiver's break.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Picks up on incoming pressure while creating added space for himself. Able to step up in the pocket or roll to either side as he surveys the field for potential targets.
DECISION MAKING:
Carson continues to add to his game by working through his progressions. An intelligent QB who takes what the defense gives him.

He’s able to make throws with a soft release along with tight trajectory.
