SIZE:
Carson has excellent size for a 2026 Dual Threat QB at 6'2" 190 lbs. He’s a very durable QB with strong lower body. Difficult to take down on his runs, showing good footwork and strength.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, making for a catchable ball. Works well to get squared up with his intended target while on the run.
ARM STRENGTH:
A strong armed QB who can hit at any range from inside the pocket. High velocity throws that get to his receivers in a hurry.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery at a three quarter arm motion, giving his throws a compact quick delivery. Sound mechanics as goes through the motion.
THROW ON RUN:
A quick footed QB who can get to the outside with excellent speed and mobility. Shows good rotation of his body as he squares up.
FOOTWORK:
A very agile QB who can get out of trouble while still maintaining the play. Quick reflexes, able to move in all directions with a quick first step. Good speed out in the open field. A shifty runner who can evade would-be tacklers by his elusiveness.
POISE:
Carson has strong confidence in his abilities, he’s ready to prove his worth as QB. A true competitor who leads by example.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good sense of the pressure around him, able to set up or side step away from traffic.
DECISION MAKING:
A quick thinking QB with great instincts. Does a nice job working through his options.
TOUCH:
Good blend of throwing variations. Able to adjust the velocity of his throws, from quick hitters to soft toss fades.
