ACCURACY:
His throws are on target, getting to his receivers with good ball placement and timing. Tight rotational spin, while delivering a catchable ball.
ARM STRENGTH:
High velocity throws that get past defenders within tight windows of space. Solid vertical passing game, while extending the field.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with full arm extension. His throws come from way back, generating increased momentum.
THROW ON RUN:
Shows good speed and quickness working to the outside. Good body rotation and follow through.
FOOTWORK:
He’s a legit Dual Threat who can get through the secondary in a hurry. Good speed and elusiveness out in the open field. Runs a 4.6/40.
POISE:
With more game experience, Carter will continue to build confidence in his game. He’s got the skills to become an elite QB, just needs to put it all together.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Good awareness of the space around him, able to step up or move laterally to avoid the pressure.
DECISION MAKING:
He works within the pocket with good patience. Making throws that are of high completion, avoiding tight coverage situations.
