SIZE:
Carter has good size for a 2026 Dual Threat QB at 5’11" 175 lbs. A left-handed QB with sound throwing mechanics. He works methodically while attacking the defense at every level. A fluid transition from a pocket passer to a running QB. Very difficult for a defense to pin him down.
ACCURACY:
Delivers the ball with precision and timing. Connecting with his receivers while in stride. A consistent throwng motion, allowing for increased accuracy to his game.
ARM STRENGTH:
High velocity throws made with tight rotational spin. Gets the ball to his receivers in a hurry, allowing for the defense minimal reaction time. Tight trajectory on throws made over coverage. He can hit on all areras of the field.
RELEASE:
A left handed throwing QB. An over the top release with a fully extended arm motion. Solid footwork prior to set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Carter's very comfortable in the pocket but can also be quite deadly while on the go. Strong forward mometum on his release, while getting his body squared up with his intended target. Very fluid with his movement, allowing for an efficient stride.
FOOTWORK:
Shows good agility in and around the pocket. Precise footing and spacing on his dropbacks.
POISE:
He’s not easily distracted by the noise around him. Very polished and comfortable within the pocket. He’s a leader on the field who remains calm under pressure.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Displays patience while executing the play. capable of working his way away from traffic.This is where Carter excels, very focused while going through his progressions. Checking down from his receiver options.
TOUCH:
Very good at making the proper adjustments to velocity, adding a softer touch when needed.
