Cayden has good size for a 2027 Dual Threat QB at 5’8” 125 lbs. He’s a quick hitting QB who gets the ball out quickly. Very mobile within the pocket, able to create more opportunities downfield.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with high percentage results, many of his passes are made at the short and intermediate range. Delives the ball in-line with his receivers with good anticipation and range.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws include high velocity, getting through in a hurry. Able to extend the field with long throws made downfield.
RELEASE:
Cayden throws with an over the top delivery, including a high release point. He shows good footwork as he works into his set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Good quickness and speed as he works to the outside. Strong forward momentum on his throws, as he locks in on his target.
FOOTWORK:
Very good agility within the pocket, able to move in all directions, while creating additional space for himself.
POISE:
Good feel for the space around him. A confident QB who not afraid to take chances.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He uses the entire backfield as his work area. Can sit in the pocket or take it to the outside, opening up additional passing lanes.
DECISION MAKING:
With most of his offensive plays including quick hitters, Cayden's able to locate his primary targets will checking down to his secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
He'll continue to work to tighten up on the trajectory of his delivery at longer distances. Able to work his throws within coverage at short and intermediate range.
