SIZE:
Chance has very good size for a 2021 Pro Style QB at 6'1" 205 lbs. He’s a quick hitting QB who gets the ball out quickly in a run-pass option offense. Shows good vision and toughness on the run, taking on would-be tacklers.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made with high percentage results, many of his passes are made at the short and intermediate range. His throws are in-line with his receivers shows good anticipation and range.
ARM STRENGTH:
His throws include high velocity, getting through the secondary in a hurry. Able to extend the field with his deep passes displaying good trajectory with just enough air underneath.
RELEASE:
Chance throws with an over the top delivery, including a high release point. He shows good footwork as he works into his set up.
THROW ON RUN:
Chance displays good quickness and speed as he gets himself to the outside. Strong forward momentum on his throws, as he zones in on his target.
FOOTWORK:
Very good agility within the pocket, able to move in all directions, while creating additional space for himself.
POISE:
Able to pick up on the defensive pressure. Good feel for the space around him.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Chance uses the entire backfield as his work area. Can sit in the pocket or take it to the outside, opening up additional passing lanes.
DECISION MAKING:
With most of his offensive plays including quick hitters, Chance did a nice job locating his primary targets will checking down to his secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
A strong throwing QB who does a good job making the right adjustments to the velocity of his throws for a softer release.
