Scouting Report

SIZE:
Chance has very good size for a 2021 Dual Threat QB at 6’2” 205 lbs. He stands in the pocket with a tall platform, able to survey the entire field. A tall and lengthy QB who’ll be able to add bulk to his frame over the next couple years. High release point gives him added height to his throws.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, showing precision passes made at the short and intermediate range. Good anticipation and timing with his receivers over the middle.
ARM STRENGTH:
Chance delivers the ball with a tight spiral. His throws at short and intermediate range are made of high velocity. Solid vertical passing game, making throws up and over coverage.
RELEASE:
Throws with a classic over the top delivery with a high release point. Excellent footwork on his dropbacks and set ups. Very consistent throwing mechanics.
THROW ON RUN:
Chance is an athletic QB who’s able to get to the outside with fluid movement. He shows good forward momentum upon delivery as he fires the ball toward his intended targets. Proper body rotation.
FOOTWORK:
Excellent agility in and out of the pocket. Does a nice job escaping pressure. Very capable Dual Threat QB.
POISE:
Plays above the competition. a playmaker on the field, able to search out defensive weaknesses. Shows good patience in the backfield, creating a mental clock within.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Works well with his offensive unit. Able to execute the play from beginning to end.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a nice job using all of his weapons, going from his primary target on down to secondary outlets. Excellent initial reads, can also improvise on the go.
TOUCH:
Very good touch on the deeper routes, displaying solid trajectory with just enough air underneath.
