SIZE:
Charlie has excellent size for a 2024 Dual Threat QB at 6’3” 180 lbs. This QB is the complete package. He stands in the pocket with a tall platform, delivering sharp precision throws which pierce the defense. A tall and lengthy QB who’ll be able to add bulk to his frame over the next few years. High release point gives his throws added height.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers. Throws made of sharp precision made at short and intermediate range. Good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Charlie has the advantage of size, which gives him an extended arm motion for longer throws downfield. High velocity throws made over the middle. Dangerous vertical passing game.
RELEASE:
Throws with a classic over the top delivery with a high release point. Increased acceleration throughout his arm motion. Excellent footwork on his dropbacks and set ups.
THROW ON RUN:
Charlie's an athletic QB who’s able to get to the outside with fluid movement. He shows good forward momentum upon delivery as he fires the ball toward his intended targets.
FOOTWORK:
For a QB of his size, he's very athletic with excellent speed and quickness. He has a huge advantage in leg stride, able to pick up yardage in a hurry.
POISE:
Very confident in his abilities as a Dual Threat QB. Shows good patience in the backfield, creating a mental clock within.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Works well with his offensive unit. Able to execute the play from beginning to end. Can do just about anything he wants on the field.
DECISION MAKING:
He does a nice job using all of his weapons, going from his primary target on down to secondary outlets.
TOUCH:
Very good touch on the deeper routes, displaying tight trajectory with just enough air underneath.
