Chase has good size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6'0" 170 lbs. He’s a playmaker on the field, attacking the defense with a strong delivery. Gets out of the box in a hurry, with sharp footwork and quick reads.
ACCURACY:
Whether he’s sitting in the pocket or rolling out, he remains consistent in his delivery. Gets his body in-line with his receivers while on the run.
ARM STRENGTH:
Chase is able to hit on all areas of the field, with strong throws made with increased velocity, especially at the short and intermediate range. Solid verticle passing game with throw made over the top of coverage. Tight trajectory.
RELEASE:
He throws with an over the top delivery, fully extended arm motion with increased forward momentum. High release point to his throws.
THROW ON RUN:
This is where Chase works at his best, out in the open field. He has so many weapons in his arsenal, able to switch from a passer to a runner at any given moment.
FOOTWORK:
Very good speed and quickness out in the open field. Solid footwork on his dropbacks and setups.
POISE:
A very confident QB who sets the tone on the field with his ability to control the game. Very confident in his skills as a QB while leading his team downfield.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Very difficult to contain within the backfield, showing very good agility and movement. Picks up on defensive pressure, while doing a nice job getting away from it.
DECISION MAKING:
Chase is a quick thinker, able to get the ball off in a hurry. He goes hrough all of his receiver options, while working through his progressions.
TOUCH:
Does a nice job making throws with a softer delivery when needed. Tight trajectory at longer range.
