SIZE:
Chase has excellent size for a 2022 Pro Style QB at 6’3” 210 lbs. He’s able to see the entire field, standing in the pocket with a tall platform. With his size comes a strong arm, able to extend the the field with his vertical bombs.
ACCURACY:
His throws are in-line with his receivers, displaying a tight spiral and catchable ball. Very consistent in his delivery with proper throwing mechanics. Good timing on his receiver’s routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
This is one of his QB strengths, his ability to make throws with high velocity, getting to his receivers in a hurry. He can make deep passes with ease, extending defensive coverage.One of the strongest arms in the Class of 2022.
RELEASE:
Chase has an over the top delivery with a fully extended arm-motion. Able to get a clean fluid delivery with a high release point.
THROW ON RUN:
A pure pocket passer who can also work to the outside with good speed and quickness as he sets up for delivery. Shows good quickness out in the open field, while rotating his body as he lines up with his receivers.
FOOTWORK:
Good agility within the pocket, able to move in either direction as he works to create added space for himself. Consistent stride and balance on his drop backs and setups.
POISE:
He’s very confident in his abilities as a QB, shows great patience while waiting for his receivers breaks.
POCKET PRESENCE:
Able to focus on the play, not easily distracted by the noise around him. He does a nice job creating space for himself.
DECISION MAKING:
A very intelligent QB, able to assess the defense and strike on quick hitting plays to his primary targets. Holds a 4.0 GPA.
TOUCH:
Has the ability of adding a soft touch on his throws by making the right adjustments to the velocity of his throws. A hard throwing QB at short range with tight trajectory throws made at long range.
