SIZE:
Chris has good size for a 2023 Pro Style QB at 6’1” 170 lbs. He's a quick hitting QB who picks up on initial reads. Will add bulk to his frame over the next couple years prior to entering the collegiate level.
ACCURACY:
Able to hit his receivers with throws that are in-line and catchable with tight spirals. He’s deadly over the middle, throwing darts with good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
Able to make all of the throws required of him. High velocity throws at short and intermediate range.
RELEASE:
He has an over the top delivery that comes across with a fully extended arm release. Able to generate momentum through his arm motion, creating greater velocity throws.
THROW ON RUN:
Chris is most comfortable within the pocket, but can take it to the outside with solid footwork and mobility.
FOOTWORK:
Good agility in and around the pocket. Would like to see more quickness in step and speed on the go. Can add a well balanced stride on his drop backs.
POISE:
He shows calm under pressure. With more game experience, Chris will be able to develop into a true leader on the field.
POCKET PRESENCE:
He seeks out high percentage opportunities downfield. Gets the ball out in a hurry.
DECISION MAKING:
An intelligent QB who’s able to read the defense and locate his best option receiver. Doesn’t take many chances with dangerous throws into tight coverage. When he does, he makes sure that the ball gets there in a hurry with solid ball placement.
TOUCH:
He’s able to adjust the velocity of his delivery, adding a softer touch.
