SIZE:
CJ has very good size for a 2025 Pro Style QB at 6'0" 190 lbs. He has a strong built, not easily able to take down, very good durability. He's very dedicated to his craft, always finding ways to improve his game. Very poised in the pocket, able to seek out big play opportunities.
ACCURACY:
His throws are made on sharp precision, hitting his receivers while in stride. His throws include a tight spiral, getting to his receivers in a hurry. Good timing and anticipation of receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
An area of strength for CJ is his arm strength. He’s able to fire it into tight windows of space within the secondary with high velocity throws. Able to extend the field with throws made with accuracy and touch.
RELEASE:
An over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. He does a nice job adjusting the angles of his delivery when in tight spaces.
THROW ON RUN:
CJ's an athletic QB who can get to the outside with good mobility. Shows very good patience and calm while locating his primary target.
FOOTWORK:
Displays good footwork on his drop backs and set ups. Can work to add speed and quickness to his game.
POISE:
Very confident in his abilities as a QB. He’s not easily distracted by the pressure around him, stays focused and determined to complete the play.
DECISION MAKING:
He wastes very little time getting the ball to his receivers. Decisive with his throws, showing good judgment and ball placement.
TOUCH:
Very good trajectory on his deep passes. He can work to add a softer release at the short and intermediate range.
