His throws are in-line with his receivers routes with good ball placement. Tight precision passing made at short and intermediate range. Gives his receivers a chance to make a play on the ball.
ARM STRENGTH:
He’s able to make all of the required throws with high velocity. Dangerous vertical passing game, able to stretch the field with deep passes over coverage.
RELEASE:
Cody's a left-handed passer. An over the top delivery with a fully extended arm motion. Well balanced stride on his dropbacks.
THROW ON RUN:
Displays good athleticism while getting to the outside. Squares up with his receivers, while hitting his targets on the go.
FOOTWORK:
A quick first step out of the box. Good mobility in and out of the pocket.
